Interesting Facts About the Stars of Glee

Glee has become one of the Nation’s top TV shows in the past two years. While most of us think that the stars of Glee are young actors and actresses just coming out of their shells, there are so many things about the cast that you probably don’t know!

Lea Michele (plays the boisterous Rachel) was born from a Roman Catholic mother and a Sephardic Jewish father. She starred in a major musical “Spring Awakening” which had all music composed by famous 90s singer, Duncan Sheik when she was only 20 years old.

Matthew Morrison (Will Schuester, Mr. Shue) was also a major Broadway star, playing Link Larkin in “Hairspray”. Matthew is currently debuting duets with both Elton John and Gwenyth Paltrow which will premiere on Ryan Seacrest’s website.

Chris Colfer (Kurt, openly gay) his character is named after “The Sound of Music’s” Kurt von Trapp. Chris himself, was named Best Supporting Actor in a Series, Miniseries or Television Film at the 68th Golden Globe Awards for the character, Kurt.
