Is it Really the End of Weeds?

With so many people watching movies on demand and ordering movies through outside sources, television has becoming a thing of the past. Television shows are being slowly weeded out through a process of selection based on the interest of the viewer. Shows that offered family lessons and moral values are a thing of the past as there is more teenage material on television today. Gone are the days of Saturday night television with the family sitting and watching the same show. It is a reality that is becoming more prevalent in all homes. Full House presented life lessons with nearly every show that was on television, as well as Family Matters and The Wonder Years. These shows are among a generation that has been weeded out of the viewing era. Reality based shows are overtaking television stations, giving viewers the what if scenario, and then allowing them to vote for their favorite person. Cartoons for children are being weeded through as well. Beloved characters like Rainbow Brite and Care Bears are no longer shown for children to enjoy. Instead, there are cartoons that show violence. Television has changed drastically in recent years and as people make their choices, it will continue to do so.
